1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Mek Mek mobile application or website (the “Service”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. About Mek Mek

Mek Mek is a platform that enables users to make and receive video calls. The platform uses a virtual currency called “coins” for payments between users. Mek Mek LLC operates from the Republic of Armenia and utilizes Stripe Connect for handling payments and withdrawals through our verified Cyprus-based Stripe account.

3. Eligibility

All users must complete identity verification to participate in our platform. Although there is no specific age requirement, Mek Mek may apply future restrictions to comply with legal and safety standards in certain jurisdictions.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to:

  • Use the Service in a respectful and lawful manner

  • Complete identity verification truthfully

  • Maintain the confidentiality of your login credentials

  • Use your real identity in calls

  • Report any abuse, violations, or suspicious behavior via our support system

5. Prohibited Conduct

You may not engage in any of the following activities:

🧍 Behavioral Violations

  • Harassment, bullying, threats, or abuse

  • Hate speech or discrimination based on race, gender, sexuality, religion, or nationality

  • Impersonation or misrepresentation of identity

  • Spamming or phishing other users

📹 Call-Related Violations

  • Recording video or audio calls without the other party’s consent

  • Disrupting, trolling, or staging fake calls

  • Using bots or automation in video calls

📦 Content Violations

  • Posting, sharing, or soliciting:

    • Pornographic or sexually explicit material

    • Content depicting violence, self-harm, or criminal activity

    • Harmful content involving minors

    • Promotion of drugs, weapons, or illegal services

    • Copyright-infringing or stolen content

💰 Financial Violations

  • Coin farming or manipulating interactions for artificial earnings

  • Attempting to bypass withdrawal limits or abuse refund processes

  • Using stolen or unauthorized payment methods

🛠 Platform Integrity

  • Exploiting bugs or attempting to hack Mek Mek systems

  • Misusing the Mek Mek name, branding, or interface

  • Reselling or sublicensing your account or access to the platform

Violation of these rules may result in immediate account suspension, termination, and forfeiture of any remaining coin balance without refund.

6. Coins and Payments

  • Coins are purchased at a rate of $0.10 per coin.

  • Coins can be used to initiate or participate in paid video calls.

  • Earned coins may be withdrawn at $0.05 per coin (50% service fee).

  • The minimum withdrawal amount is $20.

  • Withdrawals are processed via Stripe Connect and require a connected Stripe account.

  • Mek Mek is not responsible for Stripe delays or banking institution issues.

Any abuse or manipulation of the coin or payment systems may result in permanent suspension of your account and legal action.

7. Content Policy

Users are solely responsible for the content they share and broadcast during calls. You may not:

  • Display or promote harmful, explicit, or offensive material

  • Use copyrighted material without authorization

  • Violate any content guidelines we issue in the future

We reserve the right to remove content or suspend users at our discretion.

8. Privacy and Call Data

Mek Mek stores call logs and metadata (e.g., caller IDs, timestamps, and coin usage) for service history, moderation, and billing. We do not record or store video/audio content from any user calls.

Our video infrastructure partner (Agora) may log call quality metrics for technical support and analysis purposes.

9. Dispute Resolution and Refunds

We are committed to fairness. If you experience technical issues or were charged incorrectly, contact us at support@mekmek.me within 48 hours. Refunds may be issued on a case-by-case basis. Abuse of the refund system may result in suspension.

10. Account Suspension and Termination

We may suspend or permanently terminate your account if:

  • You violate any of these Terms

  • Fraudulent or illegal activity is detected

  • You breach the content or conduct guidelines

In the event of termination, all remaining coin balances may be forfeited and no refunds will be issued.

11. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be communicated through the app or website. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any updates.

12. Limitation of Liability

Mek Mek provides its services “as-is” without any warranties. We are not responsible for service interruptions, user behavior, or loss of earnings. You use the platform at your own risk.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Armenia.
